It's Christmas!! 

We have a lot of Christmas-related songs in Japan, but this rings my bell the most around this time. "Happiness" from a Japanese artist AI became a Coca-Cola 2011 Christmas Campaign song. It was the first time in 10 years Coca Cola tied up with a Japanese singer for their commercial song for the coca colas in Japan!

AI's songs are very heartful

AI, or Ai Carina Uemura is a singer from LA. She has a Italian American background as well as Japanese in Kagoshima prefecture. 

Inspired by participating in gospel choir, she sings heartwarming soulful songs. She is known to be very happy, full of friends in the music/TV scene in Japan!! Her most well known song is "Story" and is covered and sung in Japan again and again!

Why I started to share Inspiring stories from Japan

The Covid Pandemic was definitely not a pleasant period for me. It destroyed my projects and my business couldn't survive. People say it's the Great Reset, but I've met people that look forward and say
 it's a new renaissance.

Since I've been vaccinated I feel my body doesn't really function the same as before. I might live a long life, I might die today or tomorrow. What Covid taught me is I should live life to the fullest today and focus on things that make me happy.

So I hope what I share inspires you to focus on the things that make you happy:)

I want to start something in the streets of Bali!

Image from Unsplash I'm currently in Bali. I'm planning for a sustainable business that the locals can run. The reason why I started thinking about this business is this.  When I was doing my usual walk and saw 2 mothers on the street carrying a baby. The ladies were selling tissue. There is really no reason to buy from them when they are in front of the mini-mart selling with more options. I don’t really need the tissue, but I can give them some money, which I prefer not to. The reason is that I think it motivates them to stay the same and stop them from being creative to change. I don’t think what “their business” is very sustainable. I did give them some water, fruit, and Yakult for them to have a better appetite for that day at least, and wondered how can I share how to fish, not just give them the fish on the way back home.
